Novel binary-addition tree algorithm (BAT) for binary-state network reliability problem

Network structures and models have been widely adopted, e.g., for Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, smart grids, transportation communication social computer grid systems. reliability is an effective popular technique to estimate the probability that network still functioning. Networks composed binary-state (e.g., working or failed) components (arcs and/or nodes) are called networks. The fundamental type network; thus, there always a need more efficient algorithm calculate reliability. Thus, novel binary-addition tree (BAT) employs binary addition finding all possible state vectors path-based layered-search filtering out connected proposed calculating According time complexity numerical examples, efficiency BAT higher than those traditional algorithms solving problem.
